Ferrell North America Transport Driver opportunities

The Transport Driver position, both full time and part time for Ferrell North America includes the regional pickup and delivery of propane gas and/or other products as directed. This position requires some overnight travel during peak season.

Job summary

• Timely and safe delivery of propane gas and/or other products
• Strict adherence to DOT, IFTA, OSHA,  and company policies and regulations while performing duties
• Ability to lift and move up to 70 lbs., including cylinders and hoses
• Provide high level of Customer service to all customers, both Ferrellgas and others
• Ensure all Company paperwork is filled out completely and mailed to Ferrell North America in a timely manner, including driver logs, manifests, Bills of lading, delivery tickets, mileage sheets and inspection forms.
• Complete daily Driver logs ensuring that legal hours of service per week are followed and reported daily to the coordinator
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections on assigned equipment, including brakes, warning buzzers, ESO’s, tires and delivery hoses.  

Required skills

• CDL Class “A” Transport Driver license with HAZMAT, Tanker, and Doubles/Triples endorsement
• Minimum two years tractor/trailer and one year of tanker experience
• Graduate of accredited truck driving school preferred
• Excellent driving record
